Victaulic Tri-Service valve is an assembly (shipped individual components) of a standard Vic300 butterfly or Vic-Plug Series 377 balancing valves and a check valve providing a shut-off, throttling and non-slam check valve as needed for standby and parallel pumping, zoned pumping and condenser water applications. Series 716 or 779 check valves feature spring assist closing, excellent low pressure drop performance, all in a lightweight design. Triple seal butterfly valve design eliminates the packing commonly found in many globe type combination units. Infinitely variable and latchlock handles are available for 24/2 - 8" (65 - 200 mm) sizes, eases manual operation and actuation costs.
Assembly with either Style 07 Zero-Flex rigid couplings or Style 77 standard flexible couplings provides the option of rigidity or a flexible connection for noise/vibration isolation. For further information on the vibration attenuation characteristics of Victaulic flexible couplings, refer to 26.04.
Working pressures for all sizes of butterfly/check combinations is 300 PSI (2065 kPa) and 175 PSI (1200 kPa) for plug/check combinations.
