Overhead Electrostatic Percipitators
There are many industrial situations involving oil, mist, smoke, fumes and airborne dust in which an electrostatic precipitator is required for in-plant air pollution control. In some cases, machine-mounted, portable and unducted or free-hanging precipitators do not provide the flexibility sometimes required in production operations. For these applications, Aercology has introduced the overhead ELIMINATOR, with a 10' flexible arm that rotates 360°. The fibreglass hood can also be moved to any position to allow maximum direct source capture and total convenience.
This rugged Industrial Electrostatic Precipitator removes airborne dust, smoke, fumes and mist, contributing to improved working conditions and better employee health. It further reduces the need to exhaust heated plant air or introduce expensive make-up air.

Rugged cabinet - 16 GA welded construction to withstand considerable abuse.
Convenient access panels for easy access to internal components with cell discharge safety device when door is opened.
High capacity with 3/4" motor and 8" diameter hose provides higher air flow rate and greater capture velocity.
Extra deep 10 1/4" collection cell provides greater collection area (145 square feet) for maximum collection efficiency and reduced cleaning frequency.
10 wire ionizer with longer ionize wires charges more contaminant particles than other designs.
Top mounted electrical contacts - for ionizers and collection cells eliminates one major source of maintenance.
Ball bearing centrifugal blower - with overload protected, heavy duty motor for long life and quiet operation.
Sturdy flexible hose arm assembly - provided with 8" diameter flexible flame and spark resistant hose without exposed springs.
Impactor type self-cleaning option available.
