OPTIONS
Permanent Floor Mounting
BEAM CLAMPS
- Are available instead of welded leg and
leg brace attachment, permitting adjustable span and
cantilever configurations. Beam clamps are required with
optional aluminum beam. If desired, leg bracing can be
changed to angle out instead of in, reducing the clear
span between the legs accordingly.
ADJUSTABLE SPAN
- Can be provided by ordering the gantry
with the optional beam clamps.
TRACK
- 2" x 2" x 1/4" inverted
angle track mounted to flat bar is standard with anchor
bolt holes alternately positioned every 30" for
lagging the track to the floor. ASCE crane rail or heavy
flat bar track is recommended for capacities over 10
Tonnes.
GUIDE RAIL
- For trackless operation, a guide rail can
be installed on one side only for straight line
adherence, with regular casters running on the floor. FOR
LOADS OF 2 TONNES AND OVER, A POWER DRIVE SYSTEM IS
RECOMMENDED.
POWER DRIVE
- Power drive wheels with a soft start and a
brake option can be installed at each end of the gantry.
MOUNTING PLATE
- Mounting plates can be supplied in place
of casters for semi-permanent or permanent gantry
installations. These are ideal for cantilever
applications, loading docks, etc. If required, spreader
bars can be eliminated to free up floor space and working
area when the gantry is adequately anchored to the floor.
HOISTS
- Available hoists include hand chain,
electric, or air powered. Hoist must match gantry
capacity, power source, required headroom (hook to
underside of beam). Suitable lifting speed must also be
specified.
TROLLEY
- Trolley can be ordered with hoists or
separately. Available trolleys include hand geared and
powered. TROLLEY MUST MATCH CAPACITY, BEAM DEPTH, FLANGE
WIDTH, AND HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS. Geared or powered
trolleys are recommended for capacities over 2 Tonnes.
POWER SUPPLY
- 230/460 V or 575 V 3 phase 60Hz power
supply is standard. 110/220V single phase or air is
available on request. Cord or hose reels, festoon
systems, Wiring, hoses, connectors, etc. can be ordered
for all gantry models, separately or with hoist and
trolley.
