Overall Features
- Rated load: 15 tons.
- Alloy steel rack, hardened steel wearing plate significantly reduce stress and
wear - prolong jack life.
- Heavy rack section provides maximum durability, reliability.
- Short pawl set to full socket length provides larger bearing surface, greater
load distribution.
- Close fulcrum and correct socket angle allow high mechanical efficiency.
- Track Jacks are intended for use only in railway track maintenance and are trip
lowering. Trip lowering jacks quickly drop the load and cannot be safely lowered
incrementally. They should not be used for general purpose lifting.
- Each jack operated under rated load at the factory.
- Designed for use with standard 1 1/2" square X 66" long railroad lining
bars.
Standard-Height, Single-Acting
- Rated load: 15 tons.
- Aluminum trip-lowering unit with foot-unit.
- Broad toe design provides enhanced load engagement.
- Grooved head prevents slipping.
- Includes thumb guard and single-square socket without lining bar.
- Strong, lightweight aluminum housing provides easy portability.
- Quick, positive tripping from either side of jack.
- Specially-designed spring prevents accidental tripping assures positive pawl
action.
- Spring-loaded awls assure teeth-to-rack engagement.
Low-Height, Single-Acting
- Rated load: 15 tons.
- Aluminum trip-lowering unit with 2 1/2 X 3-inch toe footlift.
- Includes horn handle, thumb guard and single-square socket without lining bar.
- Broad toe design provides enhanced load engagement - grooved to prevent slipping.
- Quick, positive tripping from either side of jack.
- Specially designed spring prevents accidental tripping - assures positive pawl
action.
- Spring-loaded pawls assure teeth-to-rack engagement.
- Rigid horn-type handle allows easy spotting and carrying.
- For surfacing, tamping, lining track and installing fish plates.
